Why become a Member???

Why not join us? If you are 18 years of age or older and a proud Canadian, you are eligible for membership in the Royal Canadian Legion. If you care about our veterans and our community and are willing to work to make it better while enjoying the cameraderie of others, then you should think about becoming a Legionaire. Our main purpose is to give support to veterans who have served their country. But, we don't stop there. We work very hard to help youth and seniors in our community and try to improve the quality of life in our community.
 
As a member, you will have full access to our clubroom to enjoy a game of darts, pool or shuffleboard. You are welcome to surf on high speed internet using our computers and of course you can enjoy a cold beverage of your choice, alcohol or non-alcohol. You will be welcome to take part in our many activities from inter-Branch competitions and local card games to back yard barbecues.  You will be encouraged to bring your family to our clubroom, as we pride ourselves in being a family oriented Branch which welcomes children into our clubroom and most of our activities when accompanied by their parents. You will often see children of all ages from newborn to teens enjoying our activities. It isn't all just fun though. We raise funds to assist veterans, but also youth sports, community activities, local churches, schools, our hospital and local charities. This requires work. We usually serve over one hundred volunteers at our annual Volunteer Dinner. We do this to honour those of our members who have given their time and energy to further our cause. We could use your help.
